Who I Am

Hi there everyone.  Thanks for reading my blog.  I suppose I should start this off by giving a bit of information about myself.

This is my first year in the education industry.  Well, any industry, really, save for the retail world.  I'm 24 years old.  I was lucky enough to land myself a job in an alternative online school straight out of college.  Our school is unique in its structure, and I spend a lot of time building relationships with my students and helping them in very untraditional, non-academic ways.

In the past school year, I've learned, I've grown, and I've developed opinions and thoughts about the world of teaching.  It is my wish with this blog to have a medium for my thoughts on teaching, the world, and anything I deem relevant.

For obvious reasons, I choose to remain anonymous.  My observations on education, my students, and my life are just that: observations.  My opinion is my own, and I would prefer to not have repercussions based on my writing.

That being said, please, sit back, enjoy my writing, and feel free to let me know what you think.
